Re: i think i suck...
I"m pretty much a noob, only started playing in October.
The first 15K hands I was at -.4BB at .5/1. The next 5K I was even, and my last 10K hands are about 3.5BB/100... I don't think I'm playing terribly differently now at 30k hands than at 10K hands. Your stats look OK to me. I think you're probably running a bit bad... Although there's a fine line between being positive and negitive. A few big hands lost instead of won over 2k or 3k hands can be the difference between being -.5BB or +2BB over 5 or 10K hands. Post some HH's if you want detailed feedback on specific hands. I find reading this forum and thinking about the comments has really helped my game. Regards, Francis |

Re: i think i suck...
You're not even a losing player dude!! Your stats all look acceptable. Aim for a bit higher PFR. Other than that, just respond to lots of hands. Things will turn around.

Re: i think i suck...
You are just running badly, with those stats you should not be winning so little at .5/1. While your PFR could be a bit higher, it is still acceptable, your VPIP is a bit low for .5/1... but it's still fine... very weird.
This is a long shot, but maybe you should take a quick look at your table selection? The only other things I could see being wrong are maybe not opening up your limping hands in late position, or maybe not open raising enough... I should trade you some of my BB/100 after 21K hands it is at 7.02 BB/100. (Yes, I should be moving up, Long boring story why I can't quite move up limits yet, involves arenas, doggy trailers, crappy Suburus and why I hate Jersey.) |

Re: i think i suck...
I'm not sure what nick you used on pokerstars, but if it's what I think it was, I only have about 30 hands on you; no where near enough to say anything truly valid, but it might give you someplace to start. I don't want to mention the nick, but if you want to PM me to confirm, that's fine.
I'm not even close to being an expert, so take all of this with a big grain of salt. Regardless, as far as I can tell, it looks like you sometimes pick the wrong spots to try bluffing; you pick spots to try pushing draws where you'd (I think) be better off just calling if you're going to pursue the draw; you seem to get married to overcards and draws that miss and call down with nothing. May have been a few things I missed, but I only looked through a handful of hands. Again, please keep in mind that I'm not that good myself, but maybe this will give you a few things to look into. |
