Re: 10/20 Flush hand
I would probably fold since the 1/3 pot -> 3-bet usually screams monster to me and in the SB in a limped pot, 55, 56, maybe even J5 are possible.
My only question is, is it standard to open limp 89s in MP in these games? |

Hi PoBoy,
[ QUOTE ] My only question is, is it standard to open limp 89s in MP in these games? [/ QUOTE ] I don't know, but who cares? Raise pre-flop, HEK (and I think PoBoy is suggesting this as well). |

[/ QUOTE ] 89s is a good drawing hand but it's difficult to play drawig hands OOP. I find that it's often best to take an aggressive stance with them early on to increase the likely hood that you can win UI, and also to mask your hand when you do hit. |

Re: 10/20 Flush hand
I pushed and she called w/5 6. I think this is a fold given here weeeeaaak turn bet which was begging to get raised. The signs were there I think. I have to start making better laydowns.
