....how's this turn raise? I RARELY do this. Is it something I should be attempting more often? (I dug this out of PT, so I don't recall if I had any read.)

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.20 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (10.20 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 11.20 BB

I don't like it much. With the QJ8 and flush draw on board he's gonna call with a lot of hands. Plus, this is a HU blindsteal hand so he's gonna call you down liberally.

I agree.

Also, cut off the action on your turn raise. The 3-bet might skew responses.

I dont like it. I´m not sure people CR with a 3 on this board and an 8 probably isn´t folding. If he CRed the gut, then he improved.

Raising A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] might be good though.
