I didn't grow up with a traditional thanksgiving meal so I have never really gotten into all of these foods. Once I did starting eating turkey I found that I am a bit strange as I much prefer dry white meat...Anyone else like their bird that way? I always hear people mentioning how they are disappointed when they find that their poultry is dry...I just think JACKPOT! I guess I am weird.

I still think three choices is too few. For example, green beans are a essential part of the dinner to me, but obviously doesn't rank above the turkey/gravy/mashed potatoes.

The beauty of thanksgiving is that you're supposed to eat more than your daily allowed calories of EACH of the foods on the table. This is what makes it so special.

wow, white and dark meat is tied. i find this very surprising. maybe people like the taste of sandpaper as opposed to moist, succulent meat.
