Default 2+2 Tourney - Hand 5

When villain raised, I knew he was going to be going all in with his hand. Is this hand too weak for this (when he clearly has some sort of high hand)? I might have tossed it if I didn't have the ace, would that be correct (say the ace were a two)?

Yep, it's going to cost so little to get to a heads-up showdown to possibly eliminate someone that it's an easy easy call. Same if I had (28)5.

In this case, "so little" is just below 10% of my stack. If I had 1000 chips, is this still a go? I know at some point, it becomes a go but for an entirely different reason (desparation). Is there a point where it costs too much to knock him out, but I don't have so few chips that I need to chase him with any decent hand?

10% of your stack isnt that big of a deal when you figure to get at least half the pot most of the time. I might get this one all in for 20% of my stack against a J.

(28)5 does not play well shorthanded or in heads up situations, your ace gives you a much better chance of scooping the pot.
