I'm pretty sure he bet $500 on red, and the winner was "black" (not a number, just black). He was happy with that result, but I think we'd rather bet on red and win.

Seems pretty simple, it's a question concerning casino play, and the question is whether you prefer to bet on red or black. Not excactly rocket science.
