Default another 200/400 bellagio hand vs another v good player

Dunno if this one is interesting, but it was one of the only hands I thought much about.

i sat down a few orbits ago and nothing really has happened. The villain in this hand is 'david'...a very good asian fellow. We played yesterday and I've discussed a couple hands with him and terri, so I'm pretty sure he respects me play and I respect his game a lot as well.

full table 200/400

I raise J8o in the co, he 3 bets in the sb, I call.

flop K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I have no diamonds.

He bets, I insta spray 4 chips, he 3 bets, I 4 bet, he 5 bets, I 6 bet, he calls.

turn T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
he bets I call.

river T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
he bets I call.

i don't get his stop-n-go. i think you can raise the turn and call down after after that.

i would have called the 3 bet and raised the turn.

the way you played it it looks like he has A8/KK after that flop action. i mean maybe AA is possibility but id say its remote.

i dont think i can find a fold though...

You want to raise after he's bet into BK despite him 6betting the flop? What worse hands do you think villian makes this bet with and why? After the 6th bet can he put BK on anything worse than an 8?

I think it's possible he has put you on a flush draw - maybe A-Qd. It's also possible he's varying his play with a big hand instead of check-raising.

I don't think it's likely but I do think it's possible.

I still raise the turn. The odds of AA or AK are just too good. The only hands you are worried about are KK or A8. (not sure if he would 3bet A8 based on his view of you.)

Anyway, I pop the turn and call down if he 3bets

i do stop and goes like this w/ very strong hands when i think my opponent has a weaker but still very good hand b/c it takes more to 3bet a c'r than to raise a donk bet in general.

so to me the donk bet makes perfect sense.
