Default Question for Pacific players.

I haven't received any email from Pacific, but I see that I can't convert any more comp points. It stopped at about 16,000 pts. Is this about where it stopped for everyone else?

I think I got above 50,000, they said they took them away because of my total winnings. I think that after you cash out $20k from their site they take them away. I received an email and gave me about a weeks notice before I couldn't convert them anymore. It happened on Nov 1st.

From their website:
Bonus Points!
Here’s how it works:
Whenever you play at Pacific Poker, your Bonus Points accumulate automatically. Each and every bet you place earns you more bonus points. These points can be converted into cash and added to your Poker Bankroll at anytime.

For every $10 you wager on 'Raked' hands you will receive 1 Bonus Point. Every 100 Bonus Points may be converted to $1.
Please note that tournament play does not accumulate bonus points.

You can view your Bonus point balance at any time by visiting the Cashier in the Poker Lobby.

-------

I had forgotten that these points exist. Now I can't wait to get to home to check out how much i have points.

Probably less than i hope, cause you can only one table there.

They took mine away about 10 months ago also. They sent an email telling me how important I was to them but because I was a winning player I would no longer eligible for the bonus points. I closed my account the next week. I figure between the software problems, the slow speed and the one-tabling it wasn't worth it.

you think if you sent them an e-mail saying you would stop playing there if they didn't let you convert anymore that they'd keep giving them to you?

I got mine taken away too - it's so upsetting as I play there a lot.
Now the $4 rake...what's next? A charge for every cash-out you make?

I am such a sad Pacific player!

Do you think if you closed and then opened a new account that that would be good (until you won another $20K as you put it?)

That's a seriously stupid thing for them to say.

I can understand a site like Bodog not wanting winning players to constantly withdraw and redeposit just to get bonii.

But to tell someone that they're no longer eligible for something like this because they win too much? That's a load of crap.
