Default River stuff...

OK so my Fold to River bet is off the charts. So I'm trying to find places to call. I figured a good place to start would be with AK. Here's my River folds with AK from the last 5000 Hands.

Also feel free to flame any of my other play.

Thanks,
J

gotta call in hand 3 a fold is really bad here for one more bet. Hand 6 is an easy call after the turn check, there are alot of hands that you beat. Rest look ok.

Instacall on hand 3. With 18BB in the pot and your call seals the action you have to call here.

I have a question about these kind of situations in general (not specially about this hand although it can apply here also). If you know your opponent is agg. enough to bet draws and pairs to pf-raiser, should you raise IF you suspect he is on a draw?

If he is on a draw, you obviously have the best hand and your raise will also knock other players out.

hand 1 - fine

hand 2 - also fine

hand 3 - i'm probably raising the turn there, a jack would normally check/raise. i don't mind overcalling the river either though.

hand 4 - yeah

hand 5 - fine, if it was HU i'd probably bet the turn

hand 6 - not good, either bet the turn/fold to a raise or call that river

hand 7 - also fine, overcalling the river sucks.

hand 8 - i dunno, i might look up that river gaybet. that's a draw heavy board and people love to take shots on scare cards. folding is probably fine though.

all in all, i don't think they're that bad. only one i really take issue with is hand 6.

Where should I be looking to squash this problem then? I'm looking for situations to call and I thought this might be a place to start. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
J

[censored] numbers. [censored] stats. do not try to play each hand so that your statistics are a certain number.

look at each individual situation and decide what the best course of action is. use the information provided (by opponents past action) and correlate it to solid poker and logical fundamentals and make a desision. [censored] the results.

but use them to add to the information provided.

easy game right?
