Best laptop for 4-tabling?

I'm extremely happy with the 1680x1050 screen. I have no problems with seeing the screen, and I can still 4-table with very minimal overlap. I don't think I'd have a problem with the 1900x1200 screen either, but I think I'd have to wear glasses to do it (rarely need them).

I've got a 600m (1400x1050), which still has overlap, though not as much as my old 1280x1024 desktop lcd. Very portable, might want to consider size if you'll be toting it around.

I would personally stick with Dell over a no-name brand.

How much overlap does your 600m have? Can you still see all four tables and players cards with it? Ant info would help. Thanks

Whether you have a 15,17",19" or 21" monitor (laptop or desktop) what matters in the max resolution.

You buy any 19" desktop monitor, the max res. is still less than the 1600x1200 needed to 4 table without overlap. To get to the 1600x1200 you need to move up to 20"+ desktop monitors.

Buying the DEll 15.4" WUXGA laptop you will have up to 1900x1200 which means you can 4 table and have a little screen space free (the 1600x1200 screen is a little cheaper and will also let you 4 table).

The 9300 and 6000 (with the same max resn screens) will therefore give you the same results. The tables will be physically a bit smaller on the 6000 but the amount of stuff you can fit onto the screen will be the same..

the XPS is the 9300 with some extra gaming stuff added (my 9300 was actually specced out more or less the same as the XPS - it was cheaper to go the 9300 route as they had special deals on it)

This is extremely wrong.

I own a Samsung 19" CRT and it does 1600x1200, in fact I would be majority do. Heres a link to a similar samsung 19" HERE

sorry I assumed everyone is using LCD monitors - sure you can go CRT if you don't mind not having any real desktop left
