If you're behind on the turn, (and you probably are) I like it.

Re: I\'m finding the free card play very profitable at 5/10
this isnt a good example of free card play, because your hand is so powerful on the flop that its worth raising for value.
free card play generally implies that you are giving up value by raising, but gain value by taking your free card which compensates for your loss. however, i raise preflop. i also bet the turn. |

Is this a repeated instance or just this one time?

You're either betting the turn because you have an edge or you're ahead. We don't have enough to et and I don't think we're ahead.

Re: I\'m finding the free card play very profitable at 5/10
you have 2 players in the hand. you have a pair, gutshot and a flush draw. your equity in this hand is going to be greater than 33% far more often than not.

Re: I\'m finding the free card play very profitable at 5/10
I guess it hasn't been repeated a whole lot cause I only have 1K hands at 5/10 so far. And I also guess the free card play is profitable at every level. My title may not have been incredibly informative...

Given BB's weird checkraise here, I'm fine with 3-betting and betting the turn. Rob |
