Buying ice skates

Nike, Bauer and CCM are all good brands. They all put the old carbon blades and not stainless steel blades in their low end skates. If you are just skating for fun go out and buy the cheapest skates you can find with stainless steel blades. Make sure you buy them from a store with a skate oven so that you can get them molded.
