Default 2/4 - Turn semi-bluff/river busted draw bet

Hey all,
clearing $270 stacked at Stars, i came across this hand. What do people think? with about 25 hands gone, my elementary reads were as below.

Poker Stars 2/4 Hold 'em, 6max (6handed)
BB: ($30 in chips) slightly loose-passive
UTG: ($339.50 in chips) passive pre and aggressive postflop
MP: bullwhip ($5 in chips) complete donk
CO: ($67 in chips) just sat down this orbit
Button: Pete Harris ($91 in chips) fish
SB: ($184 in chips) SB completes and calls down with anything

Pete is dealt 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Preflop: UTG limps, MP folds, CO calls, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks.

I limp here with sooted connectors down to 76s, so this is my nadir of voluntary contribution

Flop (5SB): J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)

SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CO bets, Hero Calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

I call here with 12 outs (FD+gutshot) in the hopes of getting overcalls, rather than raising and pushing out opponents.

Turn (4.75BB): [J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)

3 checks, CO bets, Hero raises, 3 folds, CO calls.

I raise here as i have picked up the belly buster - 15 outs (diamonds, 4s, 8s) and want to drive out opponents and gain the momentum to take the pot away on the river if i miss - is this okay with the board texture?

River (9.25BB): [J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

CO checks, Hero bets...

miss my straight and flush combo, but the board bottom pairs, perhaps opening up a bluffing opportunity.

Comments?

Thanks in advance,
Pete Harris

I like the flop call.

Turn raise is bad. This is not a scare card, and there are lots of opponents in a large pot. You will not be able to pick up the pot UI often enough to make this worthwhile. Calling and keeping people in is far better. I think this river bluff works maybe 1/20.
