Default Bonehead question #3 and final - legality of internet gaming in NV

hey,
Just wondering which states (if any) have either legally "allowed" or omissively "permit" internet poker. Can you play internet poker without fear in Nevada?

And even if it's illegal, they still tax your winnings? Sounds harsh.

Thanks for replies again,
Pete Harris

Nevada is one of 2 US States (ND I think is the other) that specifically makes gambling online illegal.

In the US all income from all sources, legal and illegal, is taxable.

Apparently a few online poker rooms actually ENFORCE the NV rule.(Intertops) but the good news is you dont have to pay state taxes, so its up to the Feds to hunt you down like a dog. I suppose you could just claim gambling winnings online as B&M winnings instead if you were paranoid and fron NV?
