Trying to work on my river call downs/folds.

I really really hated his checkraise but I did call.

His K7 wins the pot

I would just call. He could have slowed played a set (99) or played his K5 suited weakly.

Shadow's point is that you have top pair, and if you're not prepared to at least call a raise on this river, you shouldn't be betting. And, for what it's worth, your bet was correct.

(Maybe I'm not being clear enough, I realize: DON'T FOLD.)
