Default Playing TT like Yertle the turtle

Paradise .5/1...trying to clear my bonus playing two tables at one time. No read on my opponent.

I am UTG and dealt T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I openraise, folded to MP who reraises, folded back to me and I call (7.5SB)

J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I check, he bets, I call. (4.75BB)

[J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, he bets, I call. (6.75BB)

[J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, he checks...pretty standard play on my part(?), or would anyone bet out on any of the streets postflop? Results and my thoughts on each street to follow...

Given how you played the flop and turn, i would bet the river.

But i would bet the flop.

Hey Chesspain,

This is SOP. I would play the exact same way with QQ against a typical opponent.

Hey AJo,

Betting the flop is wrong. Check-call the flop and turn assuming blanks fall. Betting the river is questionable. What do you do if raised? Check-calling all the way down is the textbook play if no A or K is on the board.

GOT,

If an Ace or King is on the board, what is the correct play then? Check and Fold?

GoT,

Where's the textbook?

This is a serious question. Where can I read an indepth presentation of heads-up play?

Hey Stellar,

This general situation is presented in HPFAP. My text is out on loan right now, but from what I vaguely remember the hero has QQ and is 3-bet PF and ends up headsup. The recommended course of action is to check-call on all streets if the flop comes unders. The idea is that you lose the minimum when behind to an overpairs, and allow a hand like AK or go ahead and "bluff" bet on all streets, thinking his hand is good.
