Default JJ vs unknown.

$2/$4 6max at a site that doesnt support PT.

CO (villain) appears to be too loose and quite straight fwd.

2 players fold, CO limps, Hero Raises J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], loose BB calls.

Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, CO checks, Hero bets, BB folds, CO calls.

Turn 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

check,check.

River 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Do we call a bet here?

Bet the turn. If he's straight-forward, fold to a turn c/r.

If he calls the turn, (assuming he doesn't donk the river) I check behind a non King or Jack river.

I like the turn check. It's probably not worth betting this river.

I probably bet the turn and take a free showdown UI, he is too loose after all. He could be peeling the flop with a gutshot.

Given that you checked the turn and induced a bluff, I'd call. But if he's passive and you can trust he wouldn't bet without a good hand, then I think it might be ok to let it go.

Not quite sure what you are saying. We have position on villain and when we check the turn he will often bet into us.

Are you saying if he checks the river to us, we should not bother betting? Or are you saying when we bet the turn we shouldn't bother betting the river also (I wouldn't)?

i usually bet the turn here since u have an easy fold to a CR and villain has a good sized range of hands that u beat that he coulda peeled flop with. if u bet turn my river play would be the same as beachbum's.

given ur turn check, i'm probably not calling a river bet, i dont see a straightforward 2/4 villain leading this river with a hand you beat.

if he checks river i check behind too, but it depends on ur read--if u think he'll call with 99--22 or K high then go ahead and bet, but on autopilot checking behind is standard.

This would be my standard line against an unknown here.
