That's a good point! I play mainly B&M for cash games but play a lot of SnG's online. I think I go with the Shootout ... and yes, I will have fun regardless of the result [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

I wish I could help. This is the first year that this is going on... But I ,like most I hear, like The Shoe better.

Yes, no problem with the room so far. The week before the main event(s) seems to have normal prices. Think the weekend of the main event(s) could be different but unfortunatly I have to leave on Friday for my conference.
Stay at the Shoe ($39 / night) and plan to play there for cash games and the Thursday tourney (if they run it that week) as everybody is telling me that the shoe is the nicest place to play. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Not that it's much of a difference but Laura at the Shoe told me the poker rate for the month of January is 49. I made the reservation for the 7th of January and it was 419.

Obviously I'll get it changed to the poker rate.
