Theoretically, if the site gave return/losing players a healthy run of cards for 500 or so hands the sample size would be too insignificant in order to conclude that there was anything suspicious at work. Even if on the surface the card distribution for these players appeared abnormal, you would have a difficult time proving anything conclusive.

A little too grassy knollish for me but I imagine it would be possible.

The test is to examine many new accounts. This requires a lot of trust in others to gather correct data. It's not impossible but you'd need to be motivated and your data set will be noisy.

Funny to me how the poker gods are almost always described as males.

Poker is ruled by a goddess, a demanding bitch goddess. If you don't give her the offering of time she demands, she will make sure your bankroll dries up.

Seriously though, when in a slump I go back and look hard at my Pokertracker stats, brush up on my reading and focus more on the game and less on the TV while folding. Works wonders.
