Hero value bets at T425.

Villain has to have something on this board. Hero is ahead more hands than he's behind. If it wasn't a club, would we be having this discussion? The flush is possible but unlikely. If hero is going to slow play his TPGK he has to show fortitude in the unclear situations that are likely to result.

I have changed my position substantially since my first post, but my game as changed as well.

These SATs usually make deals to pay 2 or more spots. Hero is going to have to gamble like a donkey at the end, this is a good time too.

I think a blocking bet just says take the pot away from me I only have a weak ace, especially as you haven't established your loose corageous image yet.

I am checking..I don't see what he is calling with that I beat.
So I treat it as a bluff catcher.
I'd be sick if I got raised.

I guess the play in these must be pretty bad if you are raising AJ UTG. My default line on riv is to check call, and im pretty convinced it is the best line, he could bluff raise the river quite often especially if he holds Ac x [I assume those hands must be in his range if you raised pf]. The flop and turn are muich more interesting but really this is a situation that you avoid by folding PF.
