Party Poker steps, Is the rake higher?

I was playing one of the party poker step tournaments. I was in the mini-step 3. And The fee is $50+5 for entry. That is a $500 prize pool. First and second get entry into mini-step 4 which is $150+15 and 3rd gets entry into mini-step 3 again which is $50+5. By my calculations this is $385 of prize money being paid out. Am I missing something?

btw it has been a long time since I posted or played poker online. I took time off because of school and work.
