Vegas in December or February?

Me and 3 buddies are going to vegas for our "senior year college blow all our money and go nuts" time. Our spring break is funky here and it intersects with easter and all the flights are outrageously high during april, so we decided to get away during the cold months. Since im going to be spending 80% of my time at poker tables the weather will be no biggie. Anyway doing planning I can get there in december for outrageously cheap. Would this still be fun for a bunch of 21 year old guys who wanna meet girls and party? I really cant find the consensus on the net, im sure you guys know better than me.

Vegas is crowded all the damn time so you should not have a problem in your quest

However as the weather is cold there will not be as much skin showing and you may wan't to avoid national finals rodeo week in Dec unless you want to party with cowboys (actually that may be +ev for poker)

I've gone to Vegas several times during NFR week and its not that bad. I'm by no means a cowboy, but it sure is interesting to see all the buckles and cowboy hats. Lots of country music to be heard, though.

The first time I went to Vegas was in 1995 during rodeo-week in December.

I didn't even know how to play BJ or poker nor had I ever been to a casino before.

I sure as hell was confused by all the cowboy gear and country-music when I got there (until I was told what the deal was). Pretty surreal.


Didn't make it back to Vegas until this year's WSOP.

I don't know who started these rumors about Vegas seething with loose women...

Anyway, you should have a good time there anytime of year. Probably not that difference that much weatherwise between Dec and Feb, so the sooner the better I guess. Have fun [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
