A psuh beats a set or anything worse than that because he will fold, anything other than a made flush and you are ahead, AsTc I think you are a slight slight favourite (you have one spade taken), not sure about that though. I'd probably look for a read and end up pushing, talk to him a little see if he's nervous, tell him you flopped a an open ende str8 flush draw and see how he reacts.

Can you explain why calling is better than pushing/reraising here?

Are you saying a set will fold here on this board after putting in about 1/3 of his stack?????

Hmm, I wouldn't count on that one. Especially against some described as "loose-passive, mostly a calling station"
