Default How do you play this?

4 handed.

Hero raises in CO with Ac5c, Btn folds, SB 3 bets, BB folds, Hero calls.

Range of SB 3 betting hands are 77+,KJs+,ATs+.

He will never fold TP, fires on flop and turn always even if he misses (or overcard(s) comes) and will 3 bet TP or better on the flop.

Flop is Ah5hTc

Sb bets. Your move?

call flop, raise turn?
raise flop, cap flop, and then call down if he continues to bet the turn?

I usually raise turn. I may be sacrificing 3 small bets when villian has top pair but I'm often gaining at least 2 of them back when hero has nothing or a small pair, which will be more often the case.

If here is generally passive preflop, I'll raise the flop confident that he has a big Ace or big pp that he won't fold.

i usually just call the flop raise the turn here, since he will followthrough on the turn all the time

I'd just like to verify SB's range. Is he 3-betting AJo, AQo, AKo, KQo?

Well, I was going to throw out a little Bayesian analysis to see if it would be better to raise the flop if we know he's 3-betting TP every time. However, I just did some quick combinations in my head and it looks like there's a lot more hands that don't contain TP, so wouldn't be wise to take tat line. If we know villain is going to lead flop and turn every time then I wait for the turn.

Ok, what about this hand.

4 handed:

Villian opens in CO (Does this with 22+/A2o+/K9s+/QTo+/J9s+/T8s+/98s so basically 33% of the time)

Btn folds, sb folds, Hero calls with QhJh

Flop comes:

6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks, Villian bets, Hero raises, Villian 3 bets. Hero calls.

Villian can have JT/flush draw/K9+/QT+ here.

Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero checks, Villian bets, Hero..

Do you call down and hope a non-club/9/Ace hits on the river? Do you check-raise? Fold?
