WSOP Circuit - New Orleans
I plan on going to this to play the $200 and the $300 buy-ins. On their site the blinds structure says that there's a "10 Minute Break - Race off $25 Chips". Can anyone tell me what that means exactly? Thanks

Re: WSOP Circuit - New Orleans
they take all the 25 dollar chips out of play, so you exchange them for 100 dollar chips, every 4 25 dollar chips you get a 1 100 dollar chip. Colorin up as the blinds go up because 25s are useless now.
by dollar i mean tournament dollar or whatever |

Re: WSOP Circuit - New Orleans
It's when the blinds get to a point where $25 chips are now a pain. at least 100/200 blinds. what they will do is take all your $25 chips and for every 4 give you a $100 chip. then, everyone who has an odd number left (1,2 or 3) will be dealt an equal number of cards as leftover chips, face up in front of them. the high cards each get the extra $100 chips when the leftovers are pooled. here is an example.
1.) 3 chips = 3 cards: 2, J, Q 2.) 2 chips = 2 cards: 3, A, 6 3.) 2 chips = 1 card : 6, 7 4.) 1 chip = 1 card: 10 Now, players 2 and 1 would each get one of the left over $100 chips for having the two highest cards. |

Re: WSOP Circuit - New Orleans
I also plan to play in the $200 and $300 game. I will also try some of the satellites to the other events. I bet Harrah's gets freaking packed.
