Default middling CFB totals

i have a local book that seems to be anticipating line moves, most recently with bowl game over/unders.

how much of a gap do i need for a profitable middle? are there key numbers in college like the NFL?

an example:
Ok/Or U 49.5 -110
O 45.5 -110

would there be value in this as a rogue line? or only if the market doesn't reach this by close?

thanks...

I can't answer with 100% confidence, but the above example almost has to be a great middle. I don't have a CFB database, but according to my NFL DB, the equivalent price of O45.5 -110 at O49.5 is +145. That's a 55 cent difference - much greater than the 20 cents you are being charged. It might not be quite as profitable in CFB, but I doubt that it makes enough of a difference to make it a bad bet.

oops.. those numbers are for the Utah/GT game

i figured 4 pts should be enough, but after unsuccesfully middling yesterday's bowl games, i wanted to make sure.

thanks for the response doug. i noticed you didn't have any college info on your site. there was a lot of useful info there though--good work.
