Default Flush Over Flush

Anyone know the odds for...

...a flush over flush in Holdem? Assume nine players see the flop, the board has exactly three of a given suit on the river, and you hold a flush. What are the odds that at least one other player also has a flush?

Default Re: Flush Over Flush

really all you're asking is what are the odds that someone has two cards in a specific suit, since everyone saw the flop, or at least presumable everyone who was dealt a suited hand. so with 47 cards left in the deck, and 8 left in your suit, the chances are 8/47 * 7/46 * 8 for the 8 remaining players = 20.7%
