Default Does ROI increase the lower the limits?

I've heard ~15% (or maybe 20) to be a fairly typical long-term ROI figure for SNGs. But that's mostly from people at the $22s and up.

What could one expect at the $5.50 and under levels?

The FAQ doesn't mention limits smaller than the $10+1s.

Incidentally, where are you finding a $5+0.5? PP only has $5+1s. I'm mentally adjusting my ROI as if the cost were 5+0.5 to give myself a reasonably comparable baseline, but I'm still not sure what a "good" number is to compare it to.

Are the 10+1s markedly harder than the 5+1s? I'm still really new to the SnGs, so I figured I'd cut my teeth on the cheapest/easiest ones.

No, though they are very slightly harder, you should still be able to beat the $10+1's if you can beat the $5+1's just because of the smaller rake (compared to how much you pay in tournament entries, and how much the prize pool is)

I wouldn't be surprised if 30-35% is possible at $5.5s and lower. That's for a good player, of course. And a good player won't be playing those stakes. Anyone who could come close to 30-35% would move up as soon as their bankroll can handle it.

ROI increases as you go down in levels. My educated guess is that something like 25-30% may be sustainable at 5+0.5s & below.

PokerStars has $5.00+$0.50 regular and $6.00+$0.50 turbo SNGs.
