Default Ethics??? clarification regarding GRANNY banner in classified

this is a free country and there is not much i can do about it.

however, i would like to make it perfectly clear that this banner in the classified

has NOTHING to do with me.

this person has decided to rip-off my persona and i wanted to make sure there is no confusion.

if you use this banner, you are NOT signing up under me. you are signing up under someone who has little imagination and less ethics.

the person that has chosen to "steal" this code and piggyback on my hard work is jeremy enke from partyriches.com

i would steer clear of this site. i can't imagine he is trustworthy.

there is not much i can do but complain to fulltilt (done), write him an email (done), and tell you guys that he is not me (done).

funny thing is that i had tried to sign up as a fulltilt affiliate a while ago and never heard back. so, imo, he is not only stealing the name, but he stole the code i would have chosen.

Granny (the *real* one),

You should have a word (or several thousand) with the forum owners. Tell them they have a choice as to whether they carry your adverts or the imposter. It should be a no-brainer for them to decide which they prefer, both commercially and morally.

Yes I was duped. Signed up. Very Unimpressed with the Whole set up played 25 hand removed my monies immediatly and don't wish the experience on anyone. The site I believe has the same scruples as your imposter. very misleading and deceptive

I agree.

While this isn't specifically against the rules as enforced by the mods they DO have a choice as to whether they accept the ad or not and the decision on whether to or not should be obvious.

You are a valued member at 2+2....and it's not like Mason and the gang can't SEE what this other guy is trying to do.

By accepting the ad, 2+2 is essentially approving of his tactics.

Again: 2+2 does NOT have to accept the ad.
If I own a car-dealership called Microbob Chevrolet and have been advertising on the same TV station for 20 years and have a good relationship with that station then I can reasonably expect them to not accept an ad from a copy-cat car-dealership calling themselves Microbobb Ford.

What to do about the guy ripping off my name is up to me.

But the TV station with whom I have had loyalty to should do the right thing and not air their advertisments.
