Default Calling down likely stack-offs

What do you guys do against short stacks who seem to be stacking off? Do you ignore their stats and get to showdown? Sometimes I feel like I'm giving too much action to short stacks and just mindlessly doubling them up. Is this hand OK? Would you make the same play against a non-short stack?

Button is 26/15/2.1 and has 4BB at the starting of the hand.

Preflop: Folded to me in the HJ with 66 and I raise, CO folds, Button insta-3-bets, blinds fold, I call.

Flop: J93 rainbow
I check/call.

Turn: 3
I check/call.

River: 7 still rainbow
I check/call.

Standard?
