i don't like it much due to the fact that it is highly unlikely you play a draw like this...
that being said, if you do in fact play your draws like this and he has seen you do it then its not bad.
did you consider a fake blocking bet?
make it look like you're trying to buy and cheap card on a draw and thus induce a raise?
i think it is more likely that he'll raise a turn lead with a legitimate hand then he'll call your overbet w/ a hand like 88.

plus this will allow you to actually buy some cheap draws in the future.
in a vacuum this play might not be that bad, however if you plan on playing vs. this guy for any significant period of time there are better ways to play this.

If he's not getting away from overpairs with any regularity i think your play is fine although I wonder how often you are actually bluffing like this. If there is some past history here I think its fine, but shouldn't be your normal line here for obvious reasons.
