Bellagio is a very bad choice for the outing he described. While I understand it's the best room for playing certain limits in a serious fashion, sitting there in silence except for the deafening sound of chip shuffling for six hours is no way to prepare for a night out on someone's 21st birthday.

Something like this calls for Mandalay or MGM, in my opinion.

Except that MGM, Mandalay, Bellagio, et al are freaking expensive.

Lots of fine girlies at IP. Also, if you want to go anywhere else, it is sooooo close. It is also super easy walking distance to poker rooms at Wynn, Mirage, Harrahs, Flamingo, IP, Alladin, Ballys, MGM and Bellagio. There are lots of women in the Karaoke bar up front, and also at the outdoor music area at Harrahs.

If cost is a concern at all, you cannot go wrong with IP. Not a fancy room by any means, but suitable. Just dont eat at the buffet there. It is truly awful. If you need cheap eats, go to Chipotle next to Harrahs. Heck, with the money you save going to IP instead of Mandalay or MGM, you can buy a wife for the night cruising between IP and BC after 3am and still come out ahead.

For cheepnis and action, it's bally's. They basically cater to your "action" type guys. There is no shortage of hotties dead center strip either, and there are plenty of nightclubs, poker rooms, and debotchery close by. Bally's aint the fanciest on the strip, but the action late at night is great in the poker room, and the rooms are generally cheeper than other places in the same vicinity.

If you play NL, it's Bally's, no question. There were two good looking women playing and plenty all through the casino and if I told you about the quality of play, you wouldn't believe me.

Just make sure you don't have a room overlooking the Harrahs bar.
And if you want to donk it up at 2/4 they had some great rebates... something like 3 dollars an hour when i was last there.

Why ruin poker with women and vice versa?

Best poker = Bellagio
Best women = Hard Rock (and this is not even close).

And the Palms is an ok compromise on both fronts.

If I were 21 and coming to vegas to party The Palms would definately be on my list of places to be Especially on a Friday or Saturday night.
