Never lost with quads. Did lose with a straight flush (both cards) to a Royal.

That sucked (no BBJ).

Okay, i'll be more specific. You have the pocket pair and there and the other 2 of your rank are on the board. Good point.

I flopped quads against two players.
One of them turned smaller quads.
The other rivered his royal.
The hand wasn't slow-played.
This was live casino poker for you online conspiracy theorists.
Thank you for making me remember this misery.

I am amazed that I had forgotten about this one - it only happened 4 months ago:

Absolute Poker 5/10 Hold'em (4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.40 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero calls, BB calls.

Turn: (4.70 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero calls, BB calls.

River: (7.70 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG 3-bets, Hero caps, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 16.70 BB

Results in white below:
UTG has 8c 7c (straight flush, ten high).
Hero has 9s 9h (four of a kind, nines).
Outcome: UTG wins 16.70 BB.

The funny hands that I enjoy are the ones where I fold on the flop and then would have hit quads:

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, MP2 calls, 4 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (6.33 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP2 raises, BB 3-bets, Hero folds, MP2 calls.

Turn: (6.66 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, MP2 checks.

River: (6.66 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 8.66 BB

Results in white below:
BB has 3s Js (flush, ace high).
MP2 has Ah Jd (two pair, aces and sevens).
Outcome: BB wins 8.66 BB.

The first time i ever hit quads I lost to a straight flush.

Yesterday, over a year and 100k hands later my revenge was extracted as my straight flush beat someone elses straight flush.

Once. It still hurts. On Absolute Poker, had 33, flopped Q33 and lost to Q2o when turn and river were both queens. There is still a cat-shaped hole in my wall from that day.

Just once in a sit'n'go on Pacific. Flop was Q 7 7. Hooray.

River was a queen and I lost quads to quads.

PS .25/.50 NLHE very, very early on in my playing career. back when it was just for fun.

KK in the CO, raised, smooth called by the SB.

Flop AKK.

woot. SB goes all in, I call.

You see where this is going.

Case A on the river.

Obliterated Donk fest at 2/4 at the Trop AC in January.

Im holding 7d8d on the button with full table of limpers.

flop comes 4d5dKh. SB bets out, 5 callers, I call.

Turn is a 6d. SB bets out, 1 caller, I raise, He raises, caller folds, no cap HU, we raise till he's all-in. (~14 more BB)

My gutshot SF card hit is OESF draw with the 2d3d.

He was pretty upset. Get this man a drink!

375,000 hands. One loss with quads (pocket 44 flopped quads, lost to pocket 99, turn 9 river 9).

Over 100k hands, never. Of course, I use a pattern recognizer and wear a tin foil hat.
