Confusing because I'm sure the detailed log would have said something if he was out, plus no one had enough chips to take him out, but he's missing from teh latest chip count. ANyone know what's going on?

Gavin comfortable at about 50K at end of day 1.

Im still in too (one table over from Gavin) with 29K at the end of the day.

no time for a full report but:

finally hit AA and doubled up.

lost nearly 1/3 of my stack when I hit top pair (9) on a steal with Q9s against the BB and he check raised my continuation bet.

and the most beautiful one of all...

Shania arrives at my table when I reraise an EP raiser and two callers with 35s and all fold...

~55k at the end of Day 1. It was, of course, a roller coaster day for me. My high water mark was 58k, and after the 200/400 level, I was never below 50x BB. I don't know my table/seat for tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to it.
