I tried something new... you hate it?

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls.

Flop: (10 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, CO folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

I prefer to raise the turn, you have no guarantee he's gonna bet the river, he may check-fold or check-call and you miss a bet.

why not let him bluff away? if thats what he is doing..
he will be more likely to call my raise on the river than on the turn..

maybe the straighforward line is better.. or raising the turn..

I think without a read, raising the turn is best as it is usually the most profitable line. However, if you had some stats, or a good read, there are a number of ways you could play it to extract the most.

Because it's much much more likely that he has a pair or a draw on this board than a pure bluff. I like raising either the flop or turn. Usually the flop but I mix it up.
