Default rules of 27 triple draw

I'm really confused... I want to learn how to play 27TD and everything I read says Aces are high... so can someone explain this hand history from a play-money table for me? Comments on my play are welcome, as I have no idea what I'm doing, but really I'm curious about the rules of the game.

NorthTL is at seat 5 with 255.
The button is at seat 5.

mwnelson posts the small blind of 5.
elitegimp posts the big blind of 10.

Presuming you were at UB, you were probably at an A-5 table without knowing it, as they spread both and it's fairly easy to make that mistake. I make it on real money tables from time to time.

brilliant! (It does say A-5 at the top.) At an A-5 table, do straights / flushes not matter?

Yes. A-5 handrankings are just like A-5 lowball or split-pot games.
