Default $33 Party 88 Early position

http://www.pokerhand.org/index.php?p...mp;hand=134139

I have trouble deciding whether i played the hand ok or just horribly. I'm aware that pushing is probably more correct than just betting here, but is folding right away what im supposed to do here?

I'm talking about my opening move here, the push seem very standard to me.

PS. How come only my winning SNGS show up in pokertracker (making the stats kind of off).

Thanks in advance

I dont like the preflop raise you are a short stack if you lose it you are really looking bad.

I think I'd limp here.

The rest is fine, you are pot committed and really need to knock the other players out.

Isnt the blinds a bit high to limp and look for a set? Or is that not what im looking for? If anyone raised it up to say T150, I push again right?

Depends how the table is. Sometimes a 3BB raise is good but you obviously have a loose table so its unlikely you are gonna have a good outcome.

I'd limp and hope it is folded to the blinds or 1 caller then steal on the flop.

Otherwise I'd go allin against a raise.

If you dont like any of those options then fold preflop and wait until you have better position.

I dont like the 3X BB raise here. By doing so you have already commited 25-30% of your chips, and dont have position on the flop to commit to a StopNGo. With 11X BB, and a pocket pair in EP, your ONLY options are to move all-in or fold. The blinds are going to hit you, so I think this is defintiley a push.

Ty, this was the advice i was looking for.

Btw with a pocket pair, do you mean any pockets? Would you push even with 44-?
