I'm thinking your mistake was on the turn. A decent bet here may have won you the pot. If he calls/raises your turn bet, check on the river and see what happens. Thats probably how I would have played it...

I had him down to around 4 hands TT, JJ, QQ and AQ (or mabey AJ, ATs, 77 or 72o(you never know)). I bet on the turn would only have folded the AQ, and only if the A(or mabey Q) wasn't a heart.

I don't think the River was where you made your mistake. I think your play up to the turn is fine, but at the turn you should have bet. Villain say the possible flush, he knows he only has part of it and would be drawing. He doesn't know he will hit. You might have won the pot right there with your $2 you trhew out on the river. As far as the real river play you made, your bet wast fine, but minus any reads on this guy, I'm folding to his raise. I don't know where the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], nor the Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] all of which beat your J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

I am having a really hard time seeing what happened pre-flop here. You got re-raised it looks like. If so, you should drop AJo right there.

Why are you betting this flop at all, let alone into the pre-flop re-raiser?

No hand you beat is calling that river bet. Also, there is no hand you are beating after he raises.
