Default borgata 40/80 a lot different than the 20/40?

anyone here play this game often? how does it play compared to the 20/40? the maybe 10 or so times i've played the 20/40 I thought it was v. soft. but i've only played there mostly on weekends. never sat in the 40/80, is it that much different/tougher? i'm gonna be down the borg this thursday - saturday, mostly 20/40 but i might take a stab at the 40 depending on how i'm running, etc..

thanks.

edit: oh yeah, if you're gonna be down there i'd def. like to meet up with some 2+2ers, drop me a PM if you'll be around.

The games play pretty similarly, though there are some very good players that play the 40. Loose action is pretty standard and I'd say the aggression is a bit higher. But if you handily beat the 20, I would def take a two rack shot. It's only money, right?

Hey hom,

I played the 40 there this past weekend, and the lineup looked something like: ~5 regulars who were all playing well and super-tight, a couple of 20 players who were playing weak-tight with short stacks, a couple of donators playing too loose preflop but decently enough postflop, and one huge (and I mean HUGE) donator who played 50%+ of his hands preflop & always paid off with bottom pair or better. All in all it was an easily beatable game playing ABC poker.
