Default 15-30 with an open ender while watching some porno.

Party 15-30. Great game, lots of fish at this table.

I have 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button and limp after four other players. Both blinds are in. 7 way flop, no raise.

Flop comes K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

SB checks, BB bets, call, two players fold, then a raise in LMP. I'm next to act.

What's my best play with the openender on a two tone flop?

Do I coldcall? 3bet? Fold?

Comments and explanations would be appreciated.

Default Don\'t even play this hand!

You may have other starting requirements than I have, but I wouldn't play this hand even on the button with all those limpers, but however, you're in the game, so my advise for your hand postflop is again folding. Reasons:

LMP raises, and you are next to act. you don't know what the BB will do, so you may even pay more for your draw, than two bets. The same situation at the turn, because it's likely checked to the raiser, who may betting again!

Reraise on your side? An opportunity, but you've got only a straight draw. With 2 of your outs being a diamond, making a flush possible. For my blood this situation is too dangerous.

Well I totally agree with Ulysses, there's really no way I'm folding, so the question should have been: coldcall or 3bet? 3betting might get me to the river for free, however it's also risky b/c at this point I've got to figure the bettor and raiser have strong hands, two pair is unlikely on this flop but I'm very likely to get 4bet by 33 or 66. Coldcalling might give my hand away a little bit (but they might think I'm on the flush draw) and it keeps my customers in which is key if I do hit along the way.

I just threw fold in there to see if anyone thought that would be proper.

I think the limp preflop is a no-brainer with a good drawing hand on the button after 4 limpers and I'd make this limp every time.

Although I respect Ulysses opinion and surely also yours, and despite the fact, that both of you probably have more expierence than I have, I still insist this to be a fold.

May be I just play it tighter than you guys, but I'd never consider 45s a good (drawing) hand.

And I just point back to the rule of never drawing to a straight, when there's also a flush draw on the board.

However, I'm just an ABC-Player, and when I just count your odds together you get exactly 5.5/1 from the pot on your call, but your drawing odds are about 8/1 (counting 6 outs), so I think this is a clear fold.

I dunno, I agree that playing small suited connectors too much can be very expensive, but on the button after four limpers? You have to play it. So easy to get away from; so sweet if you hit a straight. And well, if you hit the low flush, worse things could happen.

I like your limp preflop.

Flop: I'd fold.

How you like THAT, Ulysses?

Well, you might convince me that the limping was ok, but I can't get fine with coldcalling or raising on that flop!

Default This is an easy call preflop. It\'s not close.

With 54s, your odds of flopping a straight, flush, straight draw or flush draw are better than 5-1. You have position. You're likely getting in for one bet. This is when you play this kind of hand. You can't live in fear of the bigger flush draw.

Assuming you play reasonably well postflop, you're giving up a ton of EV by folding in this spot preflop.
