Default Is this awful?

Villain is 34/24/2.1 through several hundred hands.

Party Poker (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
4 folds, Hero openraises, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, BB calls

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) (8 SB)
Hero bets, BB calls

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) (5 BB)
Hero bets, BB calls.

River: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) (7 BB)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls

Am I ahead of enough hands to make this calldown? Just another hand to try and make more proper calldowns.

I think I play it the same against this player. You will see AJ and AQ often enough to make this worth it IMO.

I don't cap preflop.
The way you played it you can make a crying call on the river and hope he has AQ/AJ.

Why not??? Deception? He raises 1 out of every 4 hands he plays.

ATo/s or A9o/s, or any other Axs that the x hasn't paired the board is a clear possibility too.

I play it the same. Why wouldn't you cap it?

This a blind battle, and usually the one who made the last raise preflop will feel obliged to bet all the way if an A hits the board. This way you can earn more money postflop I think.
On the other hand if you don't improve, you won't able to fold out a pair even if you cap preflop. I might cap AKs ofr value though.
