A final table push
Last night's late night $33. 690 entrants and we're down to 7.
Payout goes something like $620 for 7th, $1000 for 5th, $3100 for 2nd, $4500 for 1st. I want the gold. Hero is very tired (it's 4:30am PT) and very card dead. He now has 42k in chips and is UTG+1. Blinds are 4/8k. UTG has 40k, MP1 has 150k, CO has 120k, Button has 40k, SB has 220k, BB has 50k. UTG folds and I am dealt K10o. Push? |

Re: A final table push
If you are that tired then push but I would wait, but you'll lose 12 k in the next two hands so that favors the push. IMO, i would wait

Re: A final table push
it's close. if you fold your blinds, you'll have relatively little FE. OTOH, if you let this go you'll give utg a nice chance to go broke next hand, and you get some extra money. the fact that there are two other short stacks and you are way behind the leader make me inclined to fold.
i fold KT and push KQ. not sure about KJ. |

Re: A final table push
I fold this, even though you are down to 28k and have barely any FE if you fold your blinds, you dont have a lot of FE here with 40k and 5 ppl left to act, but what tips it over is that you are dominated quite often when called. I would like the push better with 89s. KT is the cutoff for me, I cant see myself folding KJ here.

Re: A final table push
I thought about it for awhile and decided to push.
KT kinda sucks in this situation because it's so easily dominated. I would much rather have been dealt 89s here but I saw the blinds coming to bite me in the ass and decided to push while I felt I had some FE. Button called me with AKo and MHING. |

Re: A final table push
Fold.
If you were not at the final table I would say that it does not matter what you do. |
