"You prematurely ejaculated your chips to Norm MacDonald."

I nearly shat myself.

"Welcome to Las Vegas, where prostitution is not only legal, it is mandatory!"

Dave Foley definately gets my vote for best color of all the poker shows. I think the show is very entertaining all around. They should have him doing his color right there next to the table in place of that dry announcer with the mic. Foley is kindof a waste in the loser's lounge as he doesn't need to know what cards they have during the game.

I'm not really a fan of poker on TV (I'll watch if someone I know is/may be on), but I'm also not a fan of watching paint dry.
that said, I Celebrity Poker is the only poker TV show I can watch end to end. it knows it's a farce and doesn't try to take itself too seriously. Plus, some of the celebs are frickin hilarious.

Celebrity Poker Showdown is light years more entertaining than Hollywood Home Game. CPS doesn't take itself too seriously and allows the personalities of the celebs to come out. HHG concentrates on the poker, which is almost uniformly dreadful. I DO like the red card 'ask the pro' gimmick, but the rest is bad.

agreed. plus, the celbs are more suited for this type of programming and don't take themselves of the "competition" too seriously.
IMO, the Wanda Sykes/Travis Tritt/The Bus episode was roll on the floor, shoot milk out of your nose funny

interesting. ill have to rewatch. i found it very unbearable first time around. is foley on every episode now? im a big fan of news radio, anyone who doesnt know that show should look it up while it's still rerunning. it's up there with seinfeld as far as quality sitcoms go.

I thought the Wanda Sykes episode was hysterical as well- might be worth checking out again. As for NewsRadio- I burned out on it eventually, but CPS has renewed my interest in it, so I have TiVo grab me an episode now and then. Just caught the one where Bill is endorsing Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor, and Katherine gives him some advice on how to sound more 'street'. "Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor- It's Crizappy!". TOo funny.
