I am visiting my parents in Fishers, Indiana for the next week and just wondering if anyone on here can tell me which casinos in Indiana have the best cardrooms, the best action (10-20 to 20-40)

Thanks alot

I've only been to one, Trump Casino in Gary Indiana, but I can say that the players were pretty awful. The pre flop call percentage was very high at 3/6, something like 60-80% most of the time. Half the people were drunk and were playing any two cards. Good stuff. I imagine the higher limits are a little tighter, but probably not by much. I guess it depends on the time you go though.

I've been to all of them except the Aztar in Evansville and I've found the best action at $20-$40 at Harrah's in East Chicago. Over the weekend there are long stretches of multi-way pots (3-5 way action.) Two to four tables to choose from when busy. Nice rooms at the hotel too. You'll love it. (Grand Victoria is going to re-open there room in October.)

I was never aware that the Victoria originally had a poker room to begin with. Where was it located at?

It was on the top deck. Not very good, as I remember. A lot of rocks and indifferent staff. With the poker explosion, it's bound to be better this time around. The poker room closed 3-4 years ago.

I like Caesars but I guess I really don't have anything to compare it too since thats the only place I have been.

Well, I just looked up Fishers, IN and it's directly in the center of the state. I'm not sure if there are any casinos close to you, but you could either take a couple hours trip North to the Gary Casinos (Harrah's, Trump) or go South right around Louisville, KY and hit up Ceasars. They are all pretty nice places and the poker should be soft at all three of them. Probably more tables to chose from in Gary.
