Default How does Empire handle cheaters?

First time I played and 2 people talked to each other in a way that was cheating. Bubble, 4 of us left, I push all in with A7, then one guy says "I got him, fold" So the 2nd guy folds and the guy has AA to beat me.

Seems like cheating to me, will Empire see it as cheating and how is the best way to report it? Threaten to never play there again, switch to Party, etc? Is there a chance they would do something?

same website different color.

people can not talk that way on the table, and I think empire will repremand them, but not a whole lot you can do. Sounds like you were doomed anyways.

Yeah I know Party is the same, but maybe Empire wouldn't like losing a player to Party.

Yeah, I know I was screwed anyway, but that doesn't matter at all I don't think. It is still cheating.

You probably wanna leave that threat out of your e-mail. Not that Ubala in customter service would understand the humor...

I had an even more blatent example on Party. It was down to four people, and I was forced to go all in. One player says to the other, "I have to call here, but I only have 10-7. So you should call too." I reported it to Party and they didn't do much: they gave me a $10 credit (this was a $109 SNG), warned the two, and said they'd make sure they didn't play at the same table again. For the record, I think one of them was completely innocent and was as shocked by the comment as I was.

The best and only thing you can really do is keep your mouth shut at the table, and report them. Some people dont understand what they are even doing wrong. If you tell them they wont believe you, but they will piss their pants when they get an email from support. I dont think they should punish first time offenders. I want these idiots at my table, and for most of them they are just clueless rather then malicious.

This is also from the same game, I mean give me a break.

Mhornung98 raises (750) to 1000

Mhornung98: Yeah I know

MastaSplint: u haev a good hand>?

Mhornung98: Yeah

MastaSplint folds.

So I do believe that they are not sharing the account, etc but it is still cheating if they are giving each other a better chance to finish ITM than me even if they had no prior contact... now what?

And Party's response....cookie cutter crap obviously.

Thank you for contacting us.

We have completed our investigation in regards to player's "Mhornung98"and
"MastaSplint".

We have looked into all the necessary aspects of their account history on our
card room and we would like to share with you the following important facts that
helped us to come to a conclusion:

1. These players have been confirmed to play from different states and hence
log in from different locations.

2. They together played only in Tournament 9568316 from the day they created
their account at our site.

3-They opened their accounts at a different time and do not have any common
information on their financial profile.

4- We have gone through all the game records and have confirmed that there is no
sign of collusion at all. We have focused not only on the hands in which you
have been included, but also all the hands in which they have been together by
themselves.

5-We have further studied the frequency of their logins and logouts, in order to
confirm any pattern that suggests that they are scheduling their presence at the
tables, but no strange coincidences have shown up either.

6-We then proceeded with a check on their accounts in the given below format: -

a. We have investigated to see if there is any Inter Account Transfer in between
their accounts.
b. We have verified their biographic information and financial information to
see if there is any association in between them.
c. We have checked their buddy chat and chat messages on the table to see if
there is any kind of personal and prolonged contact with each other.

In this particular case, we assure that there is no foul play. We have logged
their account name in our records and we would be monitoring their game logs on
a regular basis. If found any suspicious activity we will further investigate
and take further necessary actions.

We are glad to have players who care for PartyPoker.com integrity, and will
always investigate fully any suspicious activity submitted by our players.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any clarifications in this regards.

We thank for being a member of our PartyPoker.com family.

Contact us anytime, we are available around the clock to assist you with your
account related questions and suggestions.

Sincerely,
Harish
Investigations Team
