Default folding top pair ???

Bellagio 80-160, stupid game, feels like the stars 100, tough lineup for this level, these games are normally much easier IMO, Van Deisel, Poker Snoopy, Busty69, Terri, some other asain kid that plays well ... anyway ..

Van Deisel (Van Nyugn real name) opens on Button, I call in BB with A8o. I have played a lot with him, both online and live and have a ton of respect for his game.

We have played about 3 or 4 pots before this one today, and he has held over me, winning everyhand ...

Flop AJ10, with 1 spade, I have no spades, I check he bets, I raise, he calls.

Turn is Q of spades, I check he bets, I fold ...

I think in a game like this although you are right to fold the turn, the line you chose is incredibly weak and you will get picked on pretty badly now.

I don't like the flop CR, if you think the bare ace is good CR a non-scare card turn.

eh, should have put this in the first post, I had rope-a-doped Van earlier, and decided he was gunna get the fast play this time...

as far as getting picked on, I dont think that this hand will change there perceptions of me, I have played with all of them a bunch ...

Makes sense, however raising a middling ace on the turn will really throw him off, and you can safely check fold this turn card from hell.

honestly it has nothing to do with my personal results vs pokersnoopy, just observing the play of said account in the stars 30 and 100 game and on paradise
