Default Is the night crowd at any given casino tougher than the day crowd?

I'm assuming yes of course, but how bad is it really?

We're thinking of going to Foxwoods for an all-nighter, but I've only been able to break even at the 2/4 tables during the day the few times I've been there. I've gotten a lot better sicne my last visit, but I fear the regulars who might be there at night.

Anyone have knowledge in this area? Should I just stay home?

Good to hear, thanks!

So uh, just curious then... if the regulars are there during the day, who would be playing at night?

When i was in vegas for my 21st i could certainly see in a difference between the day a night players. During the day i was playing against all the regulars and the conversations and action at the tables was superb. During the evening tourists just appeared like a swarm of bees. Suddenly i was playing against fish and the games got far easier. I think the tourists just sit at the pools during the day then in the evening try and play a little poker.

during the day, regulars play at the casino. During the night tons of people flock to the casinos after work and such. If you play bad during the night, that means you suck.

Others are correct, but missed that you are talking about playing 2/4. Given the rake, tokes to the dealers and cocktail waitresses, the 2/4 is likely unbeatable in the long run.

In vegas (and of course i'm generalizing) the night games are loose aggressive and the day games are tight passive.

Note that I'm talking about late night, not just evening. That's all good to hear though. I think we're going to do it tomorrow night instead of tonight.

How high do I need to go to reach a beatable level? I only have $200 to play with, so I figured 2/4 was my only hope. Maybe I should be the douche bag who orders no drinks and never tips the dealer >_>
