Default Building a Bankroll

I wanted to get some feedback on how i should really build my bankroll higher. I am a student and i play anywhere from 4-10hrs a day. As my funds are low i only ever start on a site with 50$.
Over the past 10 days i have slowly managed to get my bankroll up to the 305$ mark and yes i know its not a lot but i think its quite an accomplishment.
I play very tight aggressive poker. I raise 3BB with any hand and then another BB for any players in the hand already. I also lay down anything to big raises. I found this tactic has stered me clear of trouble and as a result i have built my roll up a little.

I guess the main question i am really asking is should i just keep on doing what i am doing and build my roll slowly or should i try different more high stakes games? I mainly play 25$max NL and occassionally 50$NL. WOuld the jump up a stake destroy my game ? Should i be playing some limit poker?

Any thoughts or ideas would be great

I'm unable to win in limit poker but if you think you can, go for it. Just letting you know that limit poker is perhaps the most frustrating thing to play online.

Go whore casino/poker bonusses.
Play more tables at NL25.
Don't try NL50 yet.
Limit is safer then NL. (especially when whoring poker bonusses)

If your funds are low, you should take steps to minimize your risk of ruin. Even if you're a master at 100NL and don't know it, with your current bankroll one bad day could still wipe you out.

Personally, I never want to make another deposit at Party (except for bonus-whoring purposes), which sounds like what you want, too. So I'm shooting for 20 buy-ins for a level before I play it regularly. If my roll drops to 10 buy-ins, I plan to drop back down. 20 buy-ins seems to be regarded on this forum as a quite safe bankroll for avoiding ruin, and from personal experience with variance that feels about right.

You're doing fine so far. At your current pace, it will only take you about a month to roll up 20 buy-ins for NL50. Keep it up and you could be playing for big stakes in just a few months, while still protecting yourself from busting out. That's not too long to wait, is it?

Play at the limits that your bankroll can support (like others have said). The bankroll swings in no-limit are greater than in limit. If you haven't suffered a major losing streak yet, be ready for it. It'll happen and it's not fun at all.

Let me second that - don't move up to the 50NL until you have 20 buy-ins ($1k), and be prepared to move back down if you start getting beat.

Also, DO NOT go and play limit. It is a very different game. Personally I find it very frustrating because of the difficulty in protecting your hand. Also, variance is greater in limit (ROR is higher).
