I think I should've grown a pair on this non pair hand

MP2 is a total donk 62/0/.1 45 hands. I put him on 2 random cards.

CO has been playing weak tight 13/1/1 60 hands. I don't think he has a pair here.

My plan was to lead the flop and the turn until I got raised by the CO on the flop. When CO checked behind on the turn I put him on 2 big clubs and cursed at myself for not three betting the flop. Does anyone lead this river?

This hand might be a good time for a stop-n-go on the turn. If raised, fold.

Hmm,

I don't know - you REALLY don't want overcalls on the river - so I'm inclined to raise and fold to resistance.

I don't think MP2 donk overcalls with anything that I don't beat, but will likely three bet if he backed into full house. I guess he could have a medium pp in which case he'd probably call a river check raise anyway. Furthermore why would I want to put two bets in on the river for a probable choped pot, or no call. I just don't see any value in a river raise.
