I think he's just having fun being a manic. He's a smart player so i'm sure he knows that he has the worst hand on 3rd and 4th. I'm surprised that seat 2 didn't raise 4th though.

He has good redraws for a half-bet here, and there are three people in. You can't really put him on rolled up kings since he completed in a 2+2 game (which is probably weak-tight by nature), and if pairs the deuce or the door card, he's way ahead.

bring in is 15, completion is 50, so it's a little more than double the bring in.

Also on 4th, even if he hits two pair and everyone else completely blanks, he isn't ahead by much. (less than .1 pot equity edge.) If anyone hits anything (two pair or 4low) then hero's hand either isn't strong enough to bet for value or absolutely crushed. Hero is basically paying on 3rd to hit trips.
